The Saegertown Robotics program began in 2007 under the direction of Jeff Patrick. In 2017 George Nahay took over as the new director. Our director just finished up his Masters in August 2019 for Technology Education.

Robobots, UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicles), UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), and 3lb bots are designed and made with machines here in our wood and metal shop.

We are also helping with the STEM program down at the elementary school. It consists of Kindergarten to Sixth grade. There we are teaching them the basics of building and following paper directions. They also have challenges the teachers give them.

In order for us to be able to build the designs created we must get sponsorships from many businesses. We create a letter and try and go to the place in person and get sponsors for us to continue to do the things we enjoy. Along with doing that we sell things here at school to teachers and students. We are also doing stuff to better our school spirit.
